The Library
The Chronicle of Castle Doom
How a boy they called a necromancer came to build a castle, as written in his own grimoire.

The Accusation
In the village they said the boy raised the dead. He had only carved a walking stick for the baker's lame son, and taught the miller's silent daughter to point at pictures to be understood. Magic, they called it, and not the good kind.

The Raising
So he climbed the mountain and pulled a castle out of the rock, tower by tower, so he would have somewhere to make things in peace. He named it Doom, because it made the villagers nervous, and because it made him laugh.

The Door Left Open
The gate has stood open ever since. Everything made inside is free to anyone who needs it, and the ones who need it most get the biggest buttons. That is the whole of the dark magic practised here.

Chromatic Media is one person making free programs in spare hours, late at night, by candlelight more often than not. Many of them are for people with special needs and for the people who look after them.
The warlock is a story. The programs, the vows and the open gate are not.
